A Geordie In The Himalaya

On The Road.

After greeting the New Year in Alleppey, I was drawn further down the coast to Varkala, a clifftop town on the Arabian sea. One of the experiences I enjoy while travelling is the actual movement between one place and another, be it by bus, train, or tuc tuc. I love watching the world go by, a world that is different to the one that I am used to. Curiosity and wonder are often my travelling companions, along with a healthy dose of gratitude to be able to witness what I am experiencing.

I want to share with you some of my bus ride from Alleppey down to Varkala (about 120 kms). Sit back and enjoy the land of India as it flows by.
